I'm pretty sure that Canadians are the spies of the knitting world.

I mean what other system has TWO sizes of needles? (evidence below) It's like they're hiding something.

Okay, but all of this is really to distract you from my awesome news that I got this week.

I'm being promoted.

Yes, this is so amazingly awesome I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

I know I've only been there slightly over a month and so I'm really very humbled that it's all happening so fast, and amazingly excited.

Ever since I started (which yes, wasn't very long ago) it's been made very aware to all of us that they promote within and to think of where in the company you wanted to go next. Very quickly on (yes I realize there is no other amount of time it could be) I realized what department and position I wanted to move into next. And so as we were advised, I made my intentions known. Little did I know that they actually were looking for help in that department. I was thinking in maybe a year or so I would be looked at to be promoted. So on Wednesday when I was pulled into our head HR's office I was literally shocked to find out that I was being asked if I wanted to advance.

I know I've said it before but I really love everyone I work with and especially the two people in department I'm moving into. All three of us think along the same lines and have similar personalities, this makes me even more excited about it.
