I'm pretty sure that mine will be midget mittens. No. Joke.
I made the point of making sure that I got the right yarn and used the right needles. Then it all went to hell. I know that you won't be able to tell it by the picture below but I'm pretty sure the one I'm making will fit a five year old.
I am going to go ahead and knit it up so I can see how it goes and get the kinks out. I think it might be a christmas tree ornament. Really. That or I'm making one glove for a five year old.
Then? Then I'm upping the needles and the yarn.
Apparently this is how I'm supposed to learn about knitting stranded mittens. Being humiliated.
Score one stranded mittens. Score zero Sarah.
I know I know, next time start with a gauge swatch.
This would save me so much humiliation but how else would I provide you with material to tease me?
